Some interesting thoughts about trusting any random number an operating system serves, to seed your encryption.
After attending #RSAC I've given a lot of thought to zero trust principles, and how so much encryption is done by simply accepting a random number from an operating system. This feels like a fundamental mistake in process and aligning with with the zero trust mandate. A #QRNG not only uses quantum phenomena to generate the raw entropy, it also does health checks and make sure the random numbers are not predicable before serving them.
