🙏🏼📺🎸Huge thanks to Julia Caesar for organising Annabella Coldrick, CEO of MMF (Music Managers Forum), to be featured in one of the BBC's global leader interviews, on the opening day of Glastonbury! With diverse artist lineups and a unique mix of music, art, and culture, they’re not just fun—they’re also huge economic boosters, bringing £1.75 billion to the UK economy. 💷 Annabella highlights the essential role of festivals in the music scene, noting that there are 800 independent music festivals this year, and Glastonbury alone hosts 2,000 artists across 100 stages. She rightly argues that festivals bring "brilliant benefits for the economy, people, and cultural well-being." 📰🌊🐟🛑A huge thank you to Cyril Dixon and Mail Online for such an in-depth story about a critical threat posed by fish farm expansion in Poros, Greece. The article documents fears among British expats living on beautiful Poros, concerning the plan to expand by 28 times its small fish farm. The expansion would be carried out by Spanish aquaculture giant, Avramar, and would occupy 1/4 of Poros's coastline and mainland. The result? Turning crystal blue waters where wild fish thrive into a "massive slick of slimy fish waste". That's IF the Greek Government pushes 'Go'. ⛵️ Sue Kouvaros, who moved to Poros to start a yachting business: "The damage is mostly underwater... It's been completely destroyed - and if they are going to increase it by about 28 times, it'll be massive." 🌲 Anna Finch, who raised her children on the stunning island: "It will destroy the island. I've been living here for decades. It's very small and friendly. It's very green - which is rare for a Greek island... If they expand it even more, it will get worse." 🙏🏼Thank you also to Sue, Anna, and award-winning documentary-maker, Francesco De Augustinis. You've helped shed light on the devastating impact due IF the proposed expansion gets the green light. 👨🏽🎨🖼️🏎We had a fantastic time at an event with British Motor Heritage Limited at the RBW EV CARS showroom in St Johns Wood, where we got to admire fascinating new works of Alan Reullier - 'Heritage Plans'. Alan is a French award-winning artist, designer, and sculptor, who's spent the last 30 years transforming discarded industrial and natural elements into artistic creations. His love for art began in his youth as a graffiti artist in the backstreets of northern Paris. Alan’s unique style and distinctive 'Faces' logo quickly gained recognition among locals and fellow graffiti artists. This logo evolved into 'The Man of a Thousand Faces,' a hallmark in his canvases that draws viewers in. ‘Heritage Plans’ is influenced by Alan's engineering background in aviation. The collection features re-imagined engineering drawings and blueprints dating back to the early 1900s. Alan has breathed new life into these unique pieces, preserving much of the original information by highlighting and embellishing them, without 'defacing' the original heritage pieces. One of our favourites was '32 Icons,' which featured figures ranging from Twiggy to Wallace and Gromit, delicately interwoven within a 1962 blueprint of a Land Rover Defender. It was a lovely evening, rounded off with great conversation, piano music, like 'curious' minds, and a glass of bubbly in hand. 🎹 🥂 Many thanks to Dominic Temple for introducing us to the brilliant Alan Reullier and Edwina Lightfoot. Check out Alan’s website to see more of his fab artwork: https://alanreullier.com/ #MotorHeritage #ArtExhibition #Repurposing #Artwork #HeritagePlans #ContemporaryArt

🌊📺🐟 We were thrilled to launch the #FishFarmsOut campaign via an interview on the BBC World News flagship show, World Business Report. Eva Douzinas, president of the Rauch Foundation, was interviewed by Mark Lobel against an ocean backdrop in Thessaloniki, “To help remind us what we are trying to protect today on World Oceans Day," she explained. 🗣️Throughout the interview, Eva succinctly addressed the urgent need for transparency and regulation within the aquaculture sector. She emphasised that the United Nations Food & Agriculture Organisation (FAO) must reconsider its stance on “sustainable” aquaculture, explaining, "Aquaculture is a broad term, encompassing everything from small-scale bivalve farming to carnivorous fish farming. We’re asking them to clearly define that sustainable fish farming does not include the carnivorous fish farming of salmon, sea bream, and sea bass." 🙏🏾It has been a genuine thrill to see this global issue garner global recognition. After all, whether we eat farmed fish or not, this issue affects us ALL. Many thanks to Julia Caesar and the BBC team for making this happen. #FishFarmsOut #SustainableFood #FoodSystems #MediaCoverage #Communications #Campaign #MediaLaunch Watch the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/eWiq6ctN Eva Douzinas Patti Schaefer Rauch Foundation Fay Orfanidou Katheti Catalina Cendoya Agustina Copello The GSFR Joanna Sullivan Andrianna Natsoulas Don't Cage Our Oceans Mike Sampey

🏎️☀️🥂 What an amazing day we had at the London Concours! Located at the hallowed grounds of the Honourable Artillery Company, we were lucky enough to be there for the world-class display of ‘The Supercars’. We soaked up all the sunshine we could, and saw some beautiful luxury automobiles. It was brilliant catching up with old friends and new, with many a glass of bubbly in hand… A big thank you to the fantastic Dominic Temple for the invite! #LondonConcours #Supercars #Automobiles #Luxury #Sun

✋🏽🌊🐟🛑 World Ocean Day (today) marks the start of the #FishFarmsOut campaign! Last year, we launched #SavePoros to try combat the extreme, illogical plan to take over 25% of this beautiful Greek island's coastline AND mainland into fish farms. Just a year later, this effort has grown into a global campaign involving communities from Tasmania and Chile, to Scotland, Spain, and Greece. Today, we urge world leaders to protect our wild fish, waters and communities from the unsustainable method of food production that is industrial fish farming (of carnivorous species). More than 160 coastal communities, NGOs, and scientists from 6 continents have signed and sent an open letter to the United Nations Food & Agriculture Organisation (FAO) demanding the removal of fish farming from its list of “sustainable” aquaculture activities. We are thrilled the BBC World News team featured the news today on its flagship show, ‘World Business Report’. Eva Douzinas brilliantly addressed the critical need for transparency and regulation within the aquaculture sector. This is a pressing global issue that impacts us ALL. Many thanks to Julia Caesar and the team for making this happen. 🌊🪸🎤We had a fantastic time at the ‘Harriet Walter & Friends’ event on Tuesday evening, hosted by #WORDTheatreUK at the wonderfully reimagined Ladbroke Hall. Titled ‘FROM THE SEA: Stories, Poems & Music’, the evening transported us to the ocean, bringing life to ocean-themed short stories and poems. A particular favourite was ‘Maybe Mermaids & Robots are Lonely’ written by Matthew Fogarty and read by Gethin Anthony. 🧜🏼♀️ These stories were beautifully interspersed by interludes of melodic singing and violin by Lizzie Ball and jazz/classical piano by Dorian Ford. 🎶 The event was curated by Cedering Fox, in support of OCEAN RISING, an initiative encouraging public engagement and connection with the ocean and its inhabitants through cultural and innovative events. As CEO of Nekton Oliver Steeds OBE said on the night, it’s about creating spaces where you can “connect to your inner fish.” Our client Rauch Foundation, in conjunction with Katheti, continue to fight against carnivorous fish farm expansion on the small, pristine Greek island of Poros and elsewhere. We know all too well of the importance of initiatives and events like this, that remind people to not only celebrate our oceans but protect them. #HarrietWalter #WORDTheatreUK #LadbrokeHall #OceanRising #OceanConservation #SavePoros

Huge congratulations to Marg Davies, veteran and Women's Royal Army Corps Association member, for completing her 11th annual 100-mile charity walk! We were delighted this year to secure coverage for Marg in the likes of The Western Telegraph, while organising daily check-ins for Marg with Richard Hatch, live on BFBS Radio. Marg's 11 annual walks have all raised funds for our client, the WRAC Association, which provides support for female veterans - whether they served for 1 day or 5 years. It is now FREE to join the Association, so if you are eligible, what are you waiting for? Visit their website here: wraca.org.uk

Delighted to see the Greek press covering the ‘Seas of Change’ summit, which took place last week on Poros. Coverage in the likes of Naktemporiki , Saronic Magazine and mononews.gr has explored the economic, environmental and social impact of carnivorous fish farms, in Greece and further afield. It was a pleasure to be involved in the conference, hosted by client, Rauch Foundation, with Katheti and the The GSFR, bringing together communities fighting against carnivorous fish farms across the globe.
