Holding relaxed sessions is a great way to demonstrate your organisation is #inclusive. However, with #neurodivergence it is also important to engage a recognised #training provider like Daisy Chain to ensure your team know how to make those simple #reasonableadjustments which will make such a difference when accessing your services. It was interesting to meet the team of astronomers from Kielder Observatory Astronomical Society yesterday who showed a keen interest in making a difference at their training. Wow wow wow !! Hartlepool joined with Stockton Round Table to put on their first official event since their recharter only a handful of months ago ... The 1st, and now to be annual, Stockton Round Table Duck Race !! What an event, you guys loved it and that showed with the donations received. Thousands of pounds were raised and will be donated between local good causes, including Daisy Chain and Three13 Training & Enterprise ... Thank you so much for everything that was donated, to everybody that turned up and had an amazing afternoon out ... Bit of a different Saturday this weekend as Hannah Brennan and I stepped away from the data and helped to run the Stockton Round Table Duck Race and race 1553 ducks down the river along with drinks, food, games and events for families The event was in aid of Three13 and Daisy Chain and helped raise over £4200 with the help of our sponsors including Foila Group Limited, Flytta, WCS interiors and The Odd Baron ! The event was also supported by RPS Pallets & AV Dawson Limited The event was an amazing success and had a huge impact despite being planned over less than 6 months, a real testament to the hard work by event organiser Bob Winter and Round Table Chair Daniel Mills.
