We're passionate about giving back to the communities we call home, which made it such a pleasure to meet the amazing team at SNAP (Special Needs Action Project), a local Inverness charity we proudly support through BBC Children in Need. We were beyond excited to deliver some DFS furniture, and the best part? Seeing the smiles on so many kids' faces as they enjoyed their new sofa in their special playroom! A big thanks to everyone involved for making this happen. 👏

We’re a company that plays to win, so we thought - why not host our own Olympics 2.0? We didn’t quite have the budget for the real thing, so sunny Doncaster it was! 😄 After a passionate people strategy packed morning and an inspiring colleague experience brainstorm session, we got straight into team bonding - with a healthy dose of competition. A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise and took part. We may be a little bit biased, but we’re convinced our People team is the best around!

After 24 incredible years of service, we're saying goodbye to Russell Platts, our very own film and trivia knowledge guru. From working on the shop floor to developing our teams, and more recently all things digital learning, you've been an integral part of our journey. We've shared so many laughs along the way, we wish you all the luck in the world and you're going to be missed by all of the DFS Team! 🥹👏

This week, Baljinder Bhurjee had the absolute pleasure of co-chairing our Asian Network. While some members couldn’t make it, there's always next time! The conversation was filled with impactful ideas and powerful feedback, with brilliant contributions on shaping and advancing the Everyone Welcome initiative.
