About us

Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust strives to support endangered animals from extinction. Introducing breeding programmes and supporting the environment. Conservation Durrell strives to save the most threatened species in the most threatened places around the world. Biodiversity is essential for human survival and our aim is to ensure we can persist alongside the myriad of plants and animals that inhabit our planet. Durrell Conservation Academy Durrell has been running unique courses in good conservation practice since 1978, when Gerald Durrell created what he called “a mini-university” at Durrell Wildlife Park, to provide intensive training to conservation practitioners worldwide. There are now more than 3,350 Durrell graduates from around 135 countries. Jersey Zoo - Be inspired! At Jersey Zoo you’ll come face to face with some of the rarest animals on earth.
