A big thank you to the wonderful volunteers from Bright Futures School for helping to plant wildflowers as part of our '30by30' restoration project with the RSPB. Bright Futures School in Greenfield supports children with autism and we were buzzing 🐝 to hear how much they enjoyed connecting and learning all about nature, whilst helping to restore the homes of our birds, bees + bugs at Dove Stone reservoir. We believe restoring wildlife is not only good for our planet, but people too! 🌾🌸🌻 Which is why together with the #RSPB, we've committed to restore and protect 30 million square feet of wildflower and grassland meadows by 2030, which will also create lots of new spaces, full of colour + buzzing with life, for local communities and families to enjoy across the UK! #restorationproject #natureconnection #localcommunities #wildflowerrestoration #30by30

Big thank you to the Friends team for spending their Giving Back days on our 'Ella’s Explorers on the Farm' trips! 🚜🥕🥦 Since 2010, we've been working with our brilliant partners #TheJohnSimmondsTrust and the #5ADayMarketGarden to help little ones in our local community learn all about where food comes from. Whether it’s tasting seasonal fruit and veggies, smelling lots of different herbs, sowing seeds, digging for worms or saying hello to the animals, the day is full of lots of laughter and big smiles. ...and with the summer holidays now in full swing, we can’t wait for September when we’ll be back on the farm to say hello to some more little explorers! #volunteering #givingback #localcommunity

Clockwork'ers 🕰️ (...aka the operations team! 🚚) have been busy bees volunteering at The Cowshed recently - sorting baby clothes, assembling cots and helping to clear out cupboards. The Cowshed is a local charity down the road in Reading, which provides support to people of all backgrounds in a time of personal crisis, including good quality cleaned and ironed clothes and other essentials free to anyone in need. At Ella's, teamies get the opportunity to take two 'giving back' days every year to volunteer and make a difference in our local community, whilst helping support our Mission of helping every little one grow up happy, healthy and never hungry! #givingback #volunteering #ellaskitchen
