We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of Claire Lomas following an accident two weeks ago. We were fortunate enough to have Claire as our keynote speaker at last year's EWiF Awards and she was a truly inspirational and remarkable woman. Claire raised nearly £1m for charity through numerous challenges for which she was awarded an MBE, after being paralysed from the chest down in a horse riding accident. Claire made worldwide headlines when she walked the London Marathon in 2012 using a robotic suit, taking 17 days. She rode motorbikes on track days, qualified as a pilot, and was a mum to two girls. Claire overcame so much adversity in her life showing what can be achieved with the right attitude and approach. She constantly pushed boundaries and inspired people all over the world with her positivity. Our hearts go out to her family and friends.
