Reactive inhibit functions allow personnel to leave the safeguarded space if they become trapped or stop a reset that has been inadvertently initiated. A common example of reactive inhibit function is an escape release. Operating the interlock with an escape release function must initiate a stop command and unlock the device, allowing personnel to exit.
