🌟 Celebrating Inclusion @ Fremantle   This week we hosted three fantastic events including: * A talent showcase to mark South Asian Heritage Month, * A fundraiser to raise awareness and money for the Hurricane Beryl Relief fund * and we welcomed 101-year-old Holocaust survivor, Mr. Joseph Alexander to share his extraordinary story.   Each event, led by teams at Fremantle, encouraged and supported the sharing of stories, empowering our colleagues to reflect on and appreciate how our backgrounds and culture has and continues to shape our lives.   Together we’ve learnt, laughed, cried (maybe that was just me!) and celebrated; deepening our understanding of the lived experience of our colleagues and continuing to build a more empathetic and inclusive way of being in our workplace.   A massive THANK YOU to all our partners, friends, colleagues, allies and cheerleaders for making these events happen.   There are so many flowers to give for each of these incredible events - the organisers, the artists, the collaborators, the local businesses and the talent – full namechecks and photos to follow soon. #LifeAtFremantle  #WorkAtFremantle #InclusionInAction

Spotlight on The Immigrant, the Fremantle-backed label making waves in the Spanish-language TV and film market. 🔎 CEO and Co-Founder, Camila Jimenez Villa, and Head of Development and Co-Founder, Silvana Aguirre, reflect on the past few years, discussing how the international focus of their slate has accounted for The Immigrant’s success and producing notable stories without sacrificing creativity. Working across the USA, Mexico, South America and Spain, The Immigrant is behind projects such as the Berlinale Crystal Bear award-winning film "Adolfo", and Mexican titles "Ella Camina Sola", "Todo lo que Fuimos", and "No One Will Miss Us". “We’ve managed the company in a way where we’re not looking to make volume. It’s always audience-facing quality, commercially viable projects first,” says Jiménez-Villa, “We don’t need to make a lot but just want to make beautiful shows. Being nimble allows us to survive in a market that is getting challenging because of all that consolidation.” The Immigrant’s upcoming productions include Disney+ Spanish comedy-drama "Shared Custody", directed by Javier Fessa, and dramedy "Yellow", for which Fremantle handles global distribution. 🎥 Read the full interview with Deadline Hollywood here: ⬇️ 🔗 https://lnkd.in/e2JgYfN4

It's been an absolute joy celebrating #PrideMonth and #DisabilityPrideMonth across many of our global offices this June and July. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Thanks to our wonderful colleagues around the world, we've seen education and awareness panels, quizzes, fundraisers, drag bingo, screenings, and more take place over the past two months, all in the name of celebrating Queer identities and being oneself. Here's a snapshot of what went down: 🇩🇪 UFA continue to slay with their yearly attendance and support of the Christopher Street Day parade celebrations across Cologne and Berlin - this year under the motto 'Shine Pride' - among many other fantastic year-round initiatives, such as their dedicated commitment the PROUT AT WORK-Foundation. 🇺🇸 Our Fremantle US Employee-Led Group (ELG) celebrated by volunteering at the LA LGBT Center in Hollywood, sorting and organising clothing donations in the Youth Closet, which provides the community with suitable clothes – in styles that affirm their gender identities – for interviews and other employment opportunities. We then worked with the organisation to build Safe Sex Kits, which are available free of charge to community members across the city. Pride@Fremantle also held a clothing drive for the Youth Closet and received plenty of donations from across the Fremantle US teams. 🇳🇱 Over in the Netherlands, Fremantle Netherlands gave the cafeteria the glow up of dreams for our very own Pride bingo night extravaganza, turning the space into a club with VIP booths, disco balls, and Pride decorations. The evening started off with a spectacular performance by the night's host and Drag Race Holland star, Sederginne. 🇬🇧 At Fremantle UK, our newly formed Pride UK ELG invited the creators of hit BBC drama, Wreck, and dating reality show sensation, Couple to Throuple, to our HQ to discuss the importance of authentic representation and creating safe spaces for queer stories to thrive. We also heard from Stonewall's Head of Individual Giving and Data, Jake O'Dwyer, who delivered a 'Pride Then and Now' session to educate us on the history of Pride month and its relevance today. Whilst we are dedicated to celebrating Global Pride Month and paying tribute to the month's origins, we recognise that all identities should be celebrated and recognised all year round, and look forward to future collaborations with our talent, content makers and ELGs. 💗 #LifeAtFremantle #WorkAtFremantle #ShinePride
