I am really honoured to be part of this project and working closely with RIN
Geospatial Ventures is excited to collaborate with the Royal Institute of Navigation on the groundbreaking launch of the Space Applications Learning Hub. This is one of five new projects announced by the UK Space Agency worth £2.1 million in total, aimed at addressing critical skills gaps identified by the UK space industry. Our accessible, interactive learning hub will be hosted on the Royal Institute of Navigation website, providing a wide range of training and CPD resources starting from April 2025. The hub will offer expert-led training modules in systems engineering, Data/AI/ML, and commercial operations, focusing on positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT), Earth observation (EO/GIS), and satellite communications. Online training will be delivered between 30 September and 6 December 2024, followed by in-person training which will be delivered in early 2025, with a 5-day course for each domain. Further dates and details will be available on the Royal Institute of Navigation website over the summer. All courses will be easily accessible and free to join for the entirety of the grant period. High demand is expected, particularly for the in-person courses, so we encourage you to register your interest here to be first to hear when booking opens: https://lnkd.in/gdEb4KB9.
