Excited to be at part of the Philippine Strategic Trade Management Summit (PhSTM) 🇵🇭 and Women in Strategic Trade Forum (WiST) as part of the Southeast Asian Forum on Export Control (SEAFEC) this week representing Global Nuclear Security Partners and Women in Nuclear (WiN) Australia Day one highlight - President Marcos' opening remarks " We cannot do this alone, we each have a part to play to ensure global security and prosperity" 👏 My take away from day one, non-proliferation of WMDs through export controls is challenged with dual use technologies that are used is everyday items as we continue to digitise our world. How do we understand and regulate these risks?

Nuclear Security and Safeguards are a part of export controls globally. GNSP MD Jasmin Diab CSC GAICD is in Manila this week at the Philippine Strategic Trade Management Summit 🇵🇭 and Women in Strategic Trade Forum as part of the Southeast Asian Forum on Export Controls. As we continue to digitise and network our world. How do we ensure that dual use technologies can be regulated and controlled? How do we understand these risks? The key is in working together, government, industry and academia. Sharing and co-operating doing our best to prevent our threats from accessing critical technologies.

Whilst in Ukraine last week, Senior Partners Nick Tomkinson and • Philip Hannah • had the pleasure to be given a tour of the George Kuzmycz Training Center for the Physical Protection, Control, and Accounting of Nuclear Material at the Institute for Nuclear Research of the the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, by Head of the Center, Sergey Drapey. An incredibly impressive set-up and team, and who we look forward to developing our relationship with further.
