A busy morning at our UKSPF Liverpool City Region Business Support Showcase at the Black-E. The event gave us and our partners an opportunity to showcase the array of support services that are on offer to city region businesses, funded by UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Through our marketplace stands and our panel discussion businesses heard about the place based support on offer that is tailored to business start-up and the support for established businesses to grow, all of which is delivered on a local basis within each borough of the Liverpool City Region. Alongside this businesses also heard about the specialist support that is provided to ambitious businesses looking for expertise to explore exporting, leadership, business strategy, supply chain, decarbonisation, social entrepreneurship, and innovation. We were also delighted to welcome Jo Fairley to share with us her inspiring entrepreneurial journey of creating and growing Green and Blacks Chocolate, Jo explained the company growth journey from initial idea through to becoming a global brand bought out by Cadbury’s, and what it takes to build business success. Liverpool City Region is a thriving hub of business innovation, with ambitious business leaders turning passion into economic growth.
