If a member of a group payment transaction fails- what then? There are a few options available to suit both customers and merchants: 🔹The lead booker can remove the payee from the payment and the group pays the difference 🔹Any of the group members can pay on any other members' behalf 🔹The merchant can capture partial payments, if they wish However, if the merchant doesn't accept partial payments and the expiration date passes without payment, then the payment will be voided and the funds will be returned to the group.
