I’m so excited to share that the new website for Hackney Children & Baby Bank is live! 🎉 Hackney Children & Baby Bank is a small, but mighty charity dedicated to helping families in Hackney and surrounding boroughs. They provide essential items like children's clothes, shoes, toys, books, toiletries, nappies, and baby gear like buggies, Moses baskets, and highchairs to families in need. We've been working together to create a stunning new website that truly supports their mission. It features custom wallpapers, a fresh colour palette, and consistent icons, making it not just functional but also beautiful. I’d love for you to check it out and support this amazing cause. Visit www.hackneybabybank.com and see the fantastic work they do! 🩵

Charities should develop a logo that is scalable to ensure it looks great across all sizes and formats. Charities benefit from having variations of their logo to adapt to different contexts and platforms. An essential variation is the Icon 'Brandmark' logo, a standalone symbol or graphic element from your main logo. This versatile mark can be used as a favicon, social media profile picture, or app icon, enhancing brand recognition in digital spaces. Simple Tip: Design an Icon 'Brandmark' logo that captures the essence of your brand identity in a simple, memorable graphic. Don't be afraid to experiment with different logo types when developing your charity's brand. Each type—wordmark, lettermark, emblem, etc.—has its own unique strengths and can convey different aspects of your organization's identity. Simple Tip: Start by brainstorming ideas and sketching out rough designs. Then, test them out with your team and stakeholders to see which resonates most with your mission and audience. I'm thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration with Abbie’s Army 🩷   I bet you have never heard of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). And part of me is glad because most people only find out about this when their child has been diagnosed with it. DIPG is a rare and fatal form of brain cancer effecting roughly 40 children a year in the UK. But Abbie’s Army is fighting to raise funds for research into treatments and a cure.   Together, we're redesigning their website to amplify their impact and create a resource for families of children who have been diagnosed. Stay tuned for the transformation   Follow them on @abbies_army or help them in the fight against childhood brain cancer by donating to their JustGiving Page.   #makingadifference #websitemakeover #webdevelopment #webdesigner #DIPG #DIPGHeroes #Abbiesarmy
