This Sunday was the Green Mobility Magazine’s third birthday (and, by extension, my work anniversary), and the only two things I can say are “WOW” and “THANK YOU”. As some of you may know, I started the world’s first periodical dedicated to the nexus between all modes of #transport and #sustainability in my very small London flat to push the dial on a topic that has been close to my heart ever since I was a young child (it's not hyperbole; you can ask my mum!). Three years later, we’ve published over 270 pages of printed content, hosted over 350 mobility professionals at our events in Brussels, and published over 500 online articles on the latest and greatest sustainable transport developments. None of these milestones—not a sentence nor a word—could have been achievable without the support of our readers, partners, or the friends I made along this sometimes tumultuous and constantly exciting entrepreneurial journey. To these people, I say, from the bottom of my heart, " Thank you.” --- Green Mobility Magazine Issue IV (2025) --- This journey has, however, just begun. After much deliberation with the Magazine’s Editorial Board, I can announce with great pleasure that the theme for the next Green Mobility Magazine will be “#finance”! Indeed, while policymakers can draft legislation and introduce mandates, and producers can innovate and introduce new and more sustainable solutions, financing remains one of the key barriers to a more sustainable transport system. From sustainable aviation fuel and hydrogen production to rail and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, the 2025 issue of the Green Mobility Magazine will dive into the complex and sometimes misunderstood world of public and private finance to identify and ascertain the challenges and opportunities facing sustainable transport actors from across Europe and beyond. All those interested in contributing to this endeavour are invited to visit the link in the comments or contact me for more information. --- September EU Election Special Soirée --- In the meantime, I invite all of you to join the Green Mobility Magazine team and me at the Press Club Brussels Europe on the 25th of September for our first Soirée event of the new European Parliamentary term for an evening dedicated to navigating the next five years of European transport decarbonisation policy. As always, our Soirée will consist of a debate and networking opportunities between some of Europe’s leading transport stakeholders and will be free to attend.
