Shaping the Future of Clinical Trial Data
About us
IgniteData’s Archer technology is transforming the way hospitals and research sites transfer data for clinical trials. EHR-to-EDC data transfer provides fast, accurate patient data for clinical studies, significantly reducing the requirement for laborious data transcription and source data verification (SDV).

Clinical Trials Day arrives each May 20 as a joyful opportunity to pause in reflection, recognition, and admiration of all that has been accomplished thanks to clinical trials and the people behind them. Our co-founder Dan Hydes has shared a very personal reason why clinical research is close to his heart - and central to everything that we do as the IgniteData team... "Glioblastoma (GBM) is a dreadful disease that claimed both my mother and my maternal grandfather when they were both barely older than I am now. There are many reasons why I do what I do, but playing even a tiny part in the fight against cancer, by producing software that helps get new drugs developed and to the people that need them faster, is what truly motivates me and the whole team at IgniteData." We are humbled and grateful to play even a small part in getting vital treatments to patients faster, and we celebrate all the achievements of sites and sponsors who every year strive to do remarkable things to enable better outcomes for patients. #clinicaltrials #clinicalresearch #heathcaredata #clinicaltrialsday

Outsourcing in Clinical Trials Europe Conference heard last week how AI and RWD can avoid data replication in clinical trials. In a thought-provoking conference keynote Mats Sundgren highlighted that up to 70% of data used in clinical trials is replicated from data that already exists in a patient’s EHR. This accounts for approximately 20% of study costs, which are allocated to this data collection and verification process. Referencing IgniteData's Archer EHR-to-EDC data transfer technology Sundgren highlighted that Archer uses data from the EHR and automatically transfers this in a deidentified manner to sponsors. Not only can this technology save investigators time and reduce site burden, but it reduces a sponsor’s research and development costs. He added “Having this technology in full swing would make research that wouldn’t normally be possible, be possible.” Full report by The Clinical Arena's Abigail Beaney https://lnkd.in/eBSBWDmr #clinicaltrials #ai #ehr #edc #interoperability #octeurope

Exciting times ahead! Congratulations to Richard Yeatman and Steven Tolle from the IgniteData team. www.ignitedata.com
I'm excited to share that after more than four years as CTO at IgniteData, I've transitioned into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). It’s been a remarkable journey that began as a simple sketch on a napkin. Since then, I've had the privilege of building something groundbreaking with an outstanding team by my side. As our business has grown, my role has naturally evolved, moving me away from the daily brainstorming sessions with engineers and product teams—a sign of the success we've achieved together. As COO, I'll be focusing on our people, our mission, and our continued growth. While I'll still be closely connected to our technology, my primary responsibilities will include overseeing our operations, ensuring successful project delivery, managing our financial strategy, and leading our customer support efforts to sustain the increasing number of regulatory-grade studies we're conducting. To fill the CTO role, I'm delighted to announce that Steven Tolle will be taking over as Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO). Steve brings a wealth of experience, and his leadership will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and expand. With him at the helm, I know our technology is in excellent hands. I'm thrilled about this new chapter and the opportunity to help propel IgniteData's vision forward. Here's to our shared success and the exciting journey ahead! Thanks to our amazing team for helping us get this far!
