 ❗Team Spotlight: Meet Cem Auchinleck-Onal, our Grant Writer❗ After possessing an ongoing desire to volunteer, but feeling frustration from the barriers that are often involved, Indigo’s commitment to responsible and ethical volunteering are what drew Cem to the team. Cem joined Indigo as a Grant Writer volunteer in January with no previous experience in fundraising, but you wouldn’t know it. His willingness to learn, understand and receive feedback have seen him excel from day 1! As a Grant Writer, Cem is responsible for collaborating with the Indigo team to set and achieve our fundraising goals. 🎯This involves researching and applying for relevant grants, funding programs, and sponsorships. ✍️He has gone above and beyond, and has even assisted in organising a 5k walk around Edinburgh to raise money and awareness for Indigo’s mission!🚶 Cem is a natural leader. 🤝He’s always willing to support other members of the fundraising team, step up to the plate, and always brings a can-do attitude. 😄 We don’t pin our team against each other… but if there was an award for “Most committed to topping up your tan and beating the bad weather in Scotland allegations”...
