🌍🏡 In 2011, Innovate UK invested £15 million in the 'Retrofit for the Future programme' aimed to refurbish over 100 homes, reducing carbon emissions by 80%. Recently, The Net Zero Heat team with expert evaluators, revisited 10 homes from this programme. They found sustained success across the various homes, proving the long-term effectiveness of retrofits. The newly published “Retrofit Revisit” report highlights the long-term benefits of domestic retrofits, showcasing how projects from over a decade ago have delivered enduring comfort and reduced energy demand. By evaluating past retrofits, we build market confidence and advance towards an energy-efficient, net-zero future.
