Day 2 (Thursday) recap of the 2024 Conference of the ITC in Granada. Across tens of parallel sessions, we heard stimulating talks ranging from the methodological to the practical to the innovating. Researchers and practitioners engaged in critical reflections on the validity and usefulness of constructs and scores used in education and organizations, presented methodological & statistical insights into dealing with continuous norming, missing data, and faking bad, and innovating solutions using AI, LLM, eye-tracking, etc to enhance response process validation, scoring, and item generation.
Topics spanned personality psychology, educational assessments, cross cultural adaptations of surveys, neuropsychological tools, and others.
