    Pure class is rare, “Ripley” on Netflix is a master class in narrative cinematography. The pictures are beautiful, the editing is pure genius. Probably less than 30 lines of dialogue but riveting in every way. The audio is perfect. For anyone with aspirations in the industry, this is how you do it.

    So "the wrap 2" will happen tonight but on Zoom, so message me if you want to attend, and I will send a Zoom. I will do my best to livestream the meeting. I am happy to mediate, but I don't want to hold court. Tonight if we can share some stories about any personal Journeys, but i think the focus should again be on what we can do to bring the situation to the government's attention. I am sure many other more advanced sights have worked out a strategy. I do not want to double up on effort or "compete" in some bizarre way.     After our discussions about the future of non scripted on “the wrap” last night, this article may offer some hope for the future. It’s good news for crew but not great for the format business. The licensing of formats really only works when the territories are bounded. It’s going to be interesting to see how it works, would the German version of a format sit alongside the Italian version. How would the business model work. Do we want to watch Korean q and a dubbed in English, of course not. So I can’t wait to see how it pans out. The thing about quiz shows is the sheer volume means you can dip in and out. I am just as happy watching the chase from 2020 as one shot yesterday. But let’s have hope if Netflix want to put up the cash for 213 hour long eps of their new buzzer show I am in!

Fremantle experienced a 3.4% decrease in revenues in 2023, with figures dropping to €2.27 billion. This decline has set the stage for an ambitious goal: achieving 30% growth to meet the €3 billion revenue target by 2025. Despite the challenges, Fremantle remains optimistic, banking on the recovering US market to boost growth. The company's strategic acquisitions, including Asacha Media Group and Beach House Pictures, underline its commitment to expansion and diversification.     After the first “the wrap” read this and weep, some of this does relate to scripted but it does support non scripted. This results in the shows like Masked Singer and Genius Game. But the Korean government support recognised the importance of vibrant production supporting modern economies. We are loosing our competitiveness in local tv production.
