Following the successful opening of Uncommon SW11 Ltd at Triptych Bankside, the estate is really coming to life. From coffees and breakfast being served in the morning, to gourmet deli style sandwiches or salads, through to a glass of English sparkling wine in the evening, Uncommon Deli has brought vibrancy and colour to Triptych Bankside. We will also be celebrating the official opening of Art Academy in September and with two more exciting retailers set to be announced soon, Triptych Bankside is truly delivering on our vision at JTRE London.

A leading responsible London property developer that create urban spaces for life and living.
About us
JTRE London is an integrated investor-developer-contactor founded in September 2019 by one of Central Europe’s leading property developers JTRE, based in Slovakia. JTRE entered the UK real estate market in 2018 having acquired its first Prime Central London asset for development on the South Bank, the £450m mixed use scheme, Triptych Bankside. As part of its flagship development, Triptych Bankside, JTRE London has contributed over £1.5m to the delivery of a new campus for Art Academy London at Triptych Bankside. Appleby Blue on Southwark Park Road, a project in partnership with United St. Saviour’s Charity is JTRE London’s second project. Designed by Stirling Prize-winning architects, Witherford, Watson and Mann, Appleby Blue is a new Almshouse consisting of 57 new homes and community space. JTRE London recently acquired 220 Blackfriars Road, its third project which is in partnership with Southwark Charities. Once completed, the new mixed-use scheme will provide two towers set amongst attractive gardens and landscaping, representing the tallest and highest value scheme to be developed in SE1 in recent years. The development of the site and creation of the new office building will help facilitate the construction of the new almshouse. Founded in 1996, JTRE now has over 300 employees and broad experience developing and managing a wide range of real estate projects in nine countries, mainly in Central and Eastern Europe, totalling over 10 million sq ft with a GDV of over €2.3bn. JTRE London has a strong track record of unlocking complex sites for development. Coupled with its partnership-led approach to structuring deals, JTRE London is well placed to tackle development projects which others might overlook.

JTRE London is proud to announce the appointment of EPR Architects as the main architect and interior architect and MRG Studio as the landscape architect for our landmark 220 Blackfriars Road scheme, which is being delivered in partnership with SOUTHWARK CHARITIES. The pioneering new scheme at 220 Blackfriars Road was originally designed for planning by Fathom Architects and MRG Studio, and has already won an award in the Housing category at the NLA New London Awards. Nigel Fleming, Managing Director at JTRE London, comments: “We are delighted to have appointed EPR Architects and MRG Studio to bring 220 Blackfriars Road to life, creating an exemplar scheme that combines best-in-class office space with much needed affordable almshouses. Pioneering almshouse Appleby Blue was featured on ITV on Tuesday, celebrated as a 'modern take on a medieval concept' that provides affordable homes for life that enable people to live in a vibrant, sensory community. Nick Phillips, chief executive of The Almshouse Association, commented: "This is a fine example of community living that still captures the architectural features of a medieval almshouse." The feature adds to a long list of awards, media praise and industry recognition for the development. We have been pleased to work with United St Saviour's Charity and Southwark Council on this project, showcasing how partnerships between the private, public and charity sectors can unlock meaningful change for all stakeholders. https://lnkd.in/etkbFdR9

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending the screening of Waterloo Sunset by Harvey Marcus as one of the co-sponsors of the documentary. Set within the remarkable 18th Century Hoptons Almshouse, owned and run by United St Saviour's Charity, and hidden beside London's River Thames, luxury apartments and sky-scraping office blocks, Waterloo Sunset is a film about the elderly residents who live there, regeneration, changing society and growing old in Britain today. Poignant, heartbreaking, yet incredibly uplifting; it casts the spotlight on the nation’s invisible minority who are growing in number year by year, with, at its centre, the story of 76 year old crooner, Shamus, who still dreams of pop stardom. The film is a touching reminder of the benefits provided by Almhouses for our ageing society and the wider community. To find out where you can watch the film check out @Waterloo.Sunset.documentary on Instagram for more information. Link here to the trailer - https://lnkd.in/eWJ-Dnzh.

We are thrilled to report a significant growth in buyer activity at our flagship development Triptych Bankside following the recent announcement of the upcoming General Election on 4 July, securing nearly £16m worth of sales. Nigel Fleming, joint MD at JTRE London, comments: “We are delighted with the recent surge in demand for homes at Triptych Bankside. With the announcement of the General Election taking place on 4th July, we have seen a surge in interest and offers, reserving one of the four new show apartments within days. The election is clearly seen as a positive and customers want to lock in today’s prices, given that with the election out of the way, inflation back to normal rates and interest rates set to come down, we are looking towards a stronger market." Thank you to Dan Crofton, PrimeResi Journal for covering the exclusive. We are thrilled to have unveiled hoardings featuring art from local artist and previous almshouse resident, Jenny Adams, at 220 Blackfriars Road! Jenny was commissioned by SOUTHWARK CHARITIES arts programme to make a site specific artwork for the hoarding. Drawings from Jenny's many sketchbooks documenting her daily life living in Edward Edwards House have been enlarged and designed in collaboration with graphic designer Charlie Noon, the images record the often-overlooked details of our immediate environment. The installation of the hoardings marks the first public commission from Tenderground, an arts strategy and commissioning programme for the almshouses of Southwark Charities, directed by Laura Wilson and Clare Cumberlidge & Co. An innovative, ambitious and world class strategy for the embedding of art and culture into the daily life of the almshouse and its residents. Nigel Fleming, joint MD at JTRE London, commented: "Meeting residents and the community at the unveiling was really important for us, it goes to show how the benefit of our partnership with Southwark Charities is greater than just new homes and offices, its also about building new relationships, and delivering for the wider community too.” Juraj Marko Chris Wilson Caroline Croft Patrick Crockford

Thank you to Hugh Graham - The Times for the glowing review of Appleby Blue, the pioneering new almshouse we developed in partnership with United St Saviour's Charity. Appleby Blue sets a new benchmark for over 65s affordable housing with a focus on exceptional design, community and supporting healthier, more independent lives. Hugh comments: "This is a far cry from many retirement homes, which are hidden in dull suburbs, rather than in the heart of a bustling city. With the dearth of council houses, and the government’s depleted coffers, we clearly need more almshouses to help pick up the slack." Appleby Blue represents an innovative partnership model between the private and charity sectors, which we believe is the key to unlocking new housing and providing a 'win-win' for all stakeholders. https://lnkd.in/e_zdk4hs
