The Paint Jam. We teamed up with Blank Walls to take over Leake Street for a day of paint jams and a night of cold cans. Featuring art from London's hottest emerging graffiti talent, and DJ sets from Camoufly and Murphy's Law. We opened up the guest list on our story and had to cut it off after 30 mins, with the event hitting capacity and 250 people filling the graffiti tunnels. What a night!

About us
Our Story We discovered two things at La Folie Douce, a raucous après-ski bar. The first was Jubel - an anthem that closed out the après antics and meant “a feeling of extreme joy”. The second was demi-pêche - a pint of lager with a peach top. This dangerously refreshing beer secret swiftly became the beer we wanted to drink that no one brewed, so we sunk our savings into a trial brew that flew at a festival, and escaped our 9-5s to pioneer a new style of beer.

Introducing... A dangerously refreshing rebrand for JUBEL. Leaning into the most distinctive part of our current branding, we've teamed up with EarthlingStudio to dial up "the cut" to a dangerously refreshing level. We released the rebrand into the wild with a "cut above" launch event at a canal-side barber shop in Hackney Wick, with these FRESH new cans in plenty of hands for a night of back to back DJ sets in a packed out barbers. A massive thanks to Earthling for creating such a strong kit of parts for us to maintain our distinctiveness whilst building more flexibility into the brand. Our ambition is to be an iconic national brand and this feels like a big step in that direction!

"Staff have JUBEL's work hard play hard philosophy down cold" Pumped to see us front and centre in the The Times this weekend as one of the Best Small Organisations to work for in 2024! Even more pumped to be the only small organisation selected as a Best Place to Work for women, the Times said... "In a male dominated industry they have a team that is just shy of 40% female and women have a 97% engagement rate at JUBEL" LET'S GO!

What a crazy couple of years it's been. Against the backdrop of rampant inflation, a cost of living crisis, train strikes, wars, a global pandemic, staff shortages, and record brewery closures, it has been difficult to dedicate enough of the time and attention we would've wanted to spend on our impact strategy. It has often just felt like we're in full survival mode, and that is the unfortunate reality for a lot of businesses. Have we made as much progress on our impact strategy in the last year as we hoped? If we're honest, no we haven't. Have we still made strong progress and prioritised being an increasingly people and planet positive business during very challenging conditions? Absolutely. We're proud to share our 2023 Impact Report - highlighting the progress we have made in the last year and setting out our ambitions for the year ahead.

The news is out. There is a new JUBEL beer and it has just landed exclusively on the shelves of 700 Tesco stores nationwide. We got off to a flyer in Tesco last summer and our distribution has almost TRIPLED since with the addition of blood orange, our brand new mixed 8-pack, and peach and lemon cans now chilling in Express stores. Some have even called lemon more refreshing than peach, only one way for you to find out...

Our email subscribers had exclusive early access to a password protected, hidden URL on our website. 85% of people opened the email (our highest ever) 63% of people clicked through to the hidden page (our highest ever) Only 5% of people bought it... because we sold out in 24 minutes. Definitely the best poster in the world. We added a twist to Carlsberg’s “Probably the best poster in the world” billboard stunt that poured you a free pint. Not only did our billboard pour you a pint of JUBEL, that pint was also your ticket to a secret party accessed through a hidden door to the side. Jan can be one of the loneliest months of the year, where pubs are at their quietest, so we threw a pop-up party open to the public to encourage human connection when damp and dark days can cause socialising to slip down the agenda. Seemed to hit the mark despite it being -5 degrees... We reached the 100 capacity within an hour and had to close the doors ANNABEL, Campbell, Rules, and Ross Quinn were on the decks. Pints were flowing. The social energy was electric. Seems we weren’t the only ones hating January hibernation!
