Anyone who has had the pleasure of working with Emma McDonald MCIM knows what an asset she is to any team, not just because of her consistently outstanding marketing work, but also because of the effect she has on everyone she meets. Don't worry, she'll be back soon, but from everyone at Just Williams and beyond, good luck Emma, we can't wait to have you back!
And that's a wrap... for now. On Friday night I handed in my keys to Just Williams - BCorp, cleared my desk and left Fusion Hive to start a brand new chapter as a Mammy. Yesterday, my team and I got to celebrate as we descended into a parmo-induced coma (featuring special guests of the JW OG's, of Jessica 's parents too!) and it was so, so special. The past five years have been an absolute whirlwind, and with every challenge and opportunity came a new perspective and the chance for me to battle my stubbornness into something better - and I can walk away (albeit only for 6 months!) knowing that the business and the team are in an exceptional place; and I am proud to have played even a tiny part in that. So, for now, I'm off to learn how to be a "proper grown up" and care for a tiny human, but I am forever grateful to Jess, Chloe and Luke for my incredibly thoughtful send off, and to my amazing clients and contacts who have been superb in their support and generosity too - many of which I now consider friends, as well. So, thank you to everyone! I'm still around and "lurking", in true 'me' fashion - but professionally, "Emma McDonald will return in 2025"... #maternityleave #tinyhumantimes #thankyou #greatpeople
