"Customer loyalty describes an ongoing emotional relationship between you and your customer, manifesting itself by how willing a customer is to engage with and repeatedly purchase from you versus your competitors." Customer loyalty is the holy grail. The most successful brands aim for EMOTIONAL loyalty BUT one way to start to build that can be TRANSACTIONAL loyalty, and loyalty schemes can play an important role here. Our latest PLAN TO PLATE research, in partnership with guest engagement platform Paytronix /NFS Technology , tracks guest decisions at every stage in the customer journey, including if they choose to return... 💡 27% of UK adults belong to a loyalty scheme for a hospitality brand/venue 💡 This has increased from 20% in the last 6 months 💡 Loyalty schemes appeal most to 18-35-year-olds (also the most frequent visitors to hospitality venues) The quarterly report is available for £495 or free if you're an 'Access All Areas' subscriber to the KAM Insight Knowledge Hub. https://lnkd.in/ep8fcP7X 💡Previous research with integrated marketing agency Ignite highlighted the real need to keep loyalty schemes as accessible and frictionless as possible. They should place absolutely no burden on the customer. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/dNmX8RHd

'Tis the time to start thinking about BIG Christmas corporate bookings... 🎄 Summer is finally here but for many in Hospitality we're already finalising Christmas... and securing those BIG corporate bookings... In partnership with Tripleseat, we've spoken to corporate event planners and hospitality operators to understand what venues can do to attract BIG seasonal bookings and this is what we found... 💡60% say large bookings and events are important to their business 💡Nearly 3-in-4 venues now embrace technology to manage big events ✅ 💡But 34% of restaurants don’t use any software to manage event and group bookings, and that grows to 39% for pubs (imagine the data capture they're missing out on! Makes DataHawks anxious just thinking about it!)) 💡51% of venues don’t have guest communications in one centralised place or system Check out the Ultimate Event Management Guide: https://lnkd.in/eVMHF8cy Venues should be maximising event bookings in the summer months to fill seasonal outdoor spaces and take advantage of major cultural and sporting events like the 2024 Olympics, Wimbledon, and cheer on the home nations at the Euros. The event planners interviewed expressed frustration about... 🔎 slow communication and response time from venues 🔎 being handed over to multiple contacts 🔎 hidden costs potentially affecting the final budget 🔎 the need for transparent and itemised cost breakdowns from venues Check out the Ultimate Event Management Guide: https://lnkd.in/eVMHF8cy Available to all KAM Knowledge Hub subscribers: https://lnkd.in/e5A_dz6V
