We could not be more proud that our work is featured on the front page of the The New York Times newspaper today. And above the fold! This is the result of many years of conversations with Cade Metz and Adam Satariano, who are some of the world's most respected writers on the subject of #AI. The extensive feature details our ground-breaking work with András Vadászy and Dr. Éva Ambrózay at MaMMa Klinika in Hungary where Mia® found 13% more cancers than doctors alone: “Advancements in A.I. are beginning to deliver breakthroughs in breast cancer screening by detecting the signs that doctors miss." The article goes on to say: "So far, the technology is showing an impressive ability to spot cancer at least as well as human radiologists, according to early results and radiologists, in what is one of the most tangible signs to date of how A.I. can improve public health”. In addition to highlighting our work in Hungary, the article also references our momentum in the NHS, where Mia is now being used in clinical practice in Scotland at NHS Grampian and being deployed to 30+ other UK sites, Finland and the Middle East. As this New York Times article showcases, Mia is actually helping to save lives in clinical practice and our many studies have shown that it is safe to deploy at scale. But by far the biggest achievement is the evidence from NHS Grampian that Mia can find up to 12% more cancers earlier and increase productivity by 30% +.
