❤️ The generosity of Imps fans is shining brightly again this summer, with in excess of £10,000 generously donated to expand matchday experiences at the LNER Stadium. Through our Imps For All scheme, each donated ticket is matched by the club and distributed by the Lincoln City Foundation to fans who might not usually attend. Thanks to the club’s board and fans, nearly 700 match tickets were given to the local community in 2023/24. This initiative brought together diverse groups, fostering community, and supporting social inclusion. Beneficiaries included: - Individuals rewarded for academic and volunteer achievements. - Care home residents reconnecting with football. - People living with Parkinson’s, enjoying a matchday tour. - Youngsters from the PL Kicks program, incentivised for good behaviour. - Older adults overcoming holiday loneliness through social interaction. - Non-native speakers enhancing cultural integration. - Cancer survivors in the Fighting Fit program building peer support. - Mental health support group members experiencing the joy of matchday. We truly embrace our role in the community, honouring our history while driving innovative approaches to supporting our fans. 🍺 Introducing Impaler 1884 - a unique craft ale produced by club partners and local brewers FERRY ALES BREWERY LIMITED - which is now available throughout the LNER Stadium on matchdays! Impaler 1884 will be served on draught in hospitality lounges, the Centre Spot Bar and food kiosks on matchdays, while supporters can also purchase bottles and gift boxes through the club shop. The creation of the new pale ale celebrates the club’s history, with the iconic new Imp badge displayed on the bottle along with our founding year to mark the club’s 140th anniversary. 🤝 Lincoln City Women have confirmed their first-team coaching team for the 2024/25 season, with Charlotte Dinsdale joining as head coach as part of a new structure designed to maximise the opportunities for progression within the club’s female pathway. Charlotte will be joined by goalkeeping coach George Bellerby, strength & conditioning coach Josh McLauchlan and physio Mark Jansen. A further first-team coach will be appointed to support Charlotte and her team in due course. These appointments follow an agreement with the University of Lincoln and their students union which will see coaches from the Academy and Lincoln City Women lead their senior men’s and women’s teams, as well as the launch of the Women’s Academy - a full-time educational course for girls aged 16-19 who wish to maintain high-quality professional training alongside their studies.
