⚡️ To buy or not to buy, that is the question. It’s no secret that the value of a new car depreciates quickly – almost immediately after it leaves the forecourt – with around 15-35% depreciation in the first year 📉 So, why should you consider an electric car lease for your business? With Business Contract Hire (BCH), business owners can access a range of benefits… 🚚 50% VAT redemptions for cars and vans used for work and employee’s own use. 🚗 100% VAT redemption for commercial vehicles where the vehicle is used solely for work. 🤝 Tax savings through Benefit in Kind (BiK). 💚 Are EVs better for the environment? If you compare them with petrol or diesel engines – absolutely! The great news is that battery technology has come a long way and today’s EV batteries often last as long as the car itself. In the rare case that a battery needs replacing, it can often be repurposed and continue being useful for many years before finally being recycled - batteries very rarely end up in landfill ♻️ You can read more about it here👇 https://lnkd.in/e9hcj6GK #ElectricCars #EVs #Environment #ElectricBattery

Thinking of switching to an electric car, but have a few things on your mind? ⚡️ We understand that this can be one of the biggest life decisions, so here are a few different EV options you can consider… 🔋A battery electric vehicle (BEV) - Exclusively uses electricity provided by batteries to power it. 🔋A plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) - Uses both batteries and either petrol or diesel for power. The car typically draws energy from the battery first before using petrol or diesel. 🔋A hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) - Powered by both electricity and a petrol or diesel engine. It uses its combustion engine as the main power source, meaning it cannot be plugged into the mains. And let’s not forget the extra benefits: 💰 They’re cheaper to run. 🔋 They’re better for the environment. 🔧 They can be cheaper to maintain. 🤫 They’re smoother and quieter to maintain. They typically provide up to 22kW of charge. 🔌 CHAdeMO – 25kW to 100kW These electric chargers are a type of rapid charger and feature seven pins. 🚗 Do electric cars pay congestion charges? For those unaware, the daily charge for driving in the ULEZ zone is £12.50 for cars, vans, motorcycles, and minibuses, while trucks and buses are charged a higher rate of £100 per day – you can see how it starts to stack up! 💰 But you’re in luck, EVs emit zero emissions, making them 100% exempt from ULEZ and Clean Air Zone charges. 🫶Isn’t this a perfect reason to switch? Especially if you’re navigating your way through the busy streets of London regularly. Better yet, you could even be granted up to £2000 towards your EV thanks to the ULEZ expansion and scrappage scheme. Check out our ultimate guide to ULEZ to find out more 👇 https://lnkd.in/efGeDyFx #CongestionCharges #ULEZ #ElectricCars #EV #CleanAirZone

🤔 You might have heard the phrase ‘Salary Sacrifice Electric Car Scheme’, but do you know what it means? Let’s break it down… 1. With the Electric Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme, the employer leases an EV on behalf of an employee. 2. The employee then agrees to ‘sacrifice’ a portion of their pre-tax salary to cover the lease costs. 3. This includes the car and the option of adding insurance and even a home charger installation. By providing employees with the option to sign up for an EV Salary Sacrifice Scheme, they can… ⚡️ Save up to 40% on an electric car lease. ⚡️ Pay less PAYE and NI. In addition to this, an employer can expect to… ⚡️ Save around 13.8% in employee national insurance contributions. ⚡️ Boost your company’s green credentials and support ESG goals. ⚡️ Attract and retain top talent.
