It's GCSE results day in the UK. If your results were everything you'd hoped for - congratulations! If they weren't, keep this fact in mind: our current exam system measures how much we can remember and write down on a given day, about a given subject, in a given timeframe. And while this suits some minds, it doesn't suit us all. As Dyslexic Thinkers in the school system, we often feel defined and measured by our challenges. But in the real world, our Dyslexic Thinking is an advantage - helping us to think innovatively, communicate powerfully and helping us to develop into emotionally intelligent leaders. And these are the skills employers are now recruiting for.
