For the third year running, we’re supporting Oxfam’s Second Hand September campaign, an initiative designed to encourage people to shop second hand to reduce waste and take better care of our planet for our future generations. Since the start of our partnership, our customers have donated an incredible 19,500 items which have either been resold in Oxfam stores or responsibly recycled. At 7 months pregnant with her first baby, Rosie is nearing close to her due date, so she welcomed all the invaluable advice, useful tips and one-to-one service from Store Supervisor Samantha, who guided her through the appointment. 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗺 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮 ✨ We swapped pushchairs for the red carpet on Friday night, as we attended an ultra-glamourous event, hosted by UK charity Baby Basics UK in celebration of their 15-year anniversary. Our very own Iember (Head of Marketing, Mamas & Papas) and Megan (International Marketing Manager, Mamas & Papas) were thrilled to attend the Glam Gala, which took place at Sheffield’s beautiful Tapton Hall, where Mamas & Papas were proud to be Gold sponsors of the evening. With a sumptuous 3-course dinner, live auction and partying into the night, the evening was both a celebration of and further support to the ongoing great work Baby Basics has been doing for communities across the UK for the last 15 years. Mamas & Papas are very proud to support Baby Basics and an incredible £19484.50 was raised on the night.
