It’s not every day that Merlin’s Magic Wand families get the chance to share the impact of a Magical Day Out with the CEO. But as Chessington World of Adventures Resort opened its gates to the exhilarating World of Jumanji on May 13th, there were two very lucky Merlin’s Magic Wand families in attendance. Merlin’s CEO Scott O'Neil took the time to meet with both the Gibson and the Simpson families at the launch where they shared their stories. They also talked about the charitable work happening across all the Merlin attractions with Merlin’s Magic Wand, before he gifted some special experiences at the attractions to these families who have been through so much. We are proud to be the children’s charity partner of an organisation that prioritises magical experiences and opportunities full of heart. 💚

Our partner children’s charity Merlin's Magic Wand has opened its latest Magic Space at the Blackpool Teaching Hospital, in collaboration with Dreams Come True. 💭 This area is the 54th Magical Space opened by Merlin’s Magic Wand, and has been created to offer a safe space for children and their families when in hospital. The SEA LIFE themed sensory space features a variety of interactive and calming elements inspired by the underwater world, including hanging jellyfish, bubble tubes, aquatic-themed artwork, and tactile panels designed to stimulate the senses. 🫧 Erin Scoular, Charity Manager for Merlin’s Magic Wand, said "Our goal is always to create magical experiences for children who need them most. We're confident that bringing the wonders of the ocean-themed attraction to those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it first hand and creating a soothing and enchanting space for healing does just that, and we hope that the space makes a positive impact for children and families for years to come." This project has been brought to life through the generous support of volunteers from SEA LIFE Blackpool, and Merlin Entertainments’ Blackpool suppliers, and is a magical example of how Merlin's Magic Wand’s Magic Spaces programme brings magical experiences to children who need them most. ✨ #MerlinsMagicWand #Blackpool #Community

Say hello to Magic Space Project Manager Becky – who stands proudly next to a BRAND NEW Merlin’s Magic Wand Mobile Unit! 🔨🎮 What is a Mobile Unit? We hear you ask … A Mobile Unit is a movable entertainment station with a TV, Xbox, LEGO tray, DUPLO tray and drawers filled with games bringing fun to kids wherever they are! 🚀📺📀 We often donate Mobile Units to rehabilitation centres, hospital wards and hospices, allowing us to share the #magic of fun and play with children who need it most.
