Customer service continues to stand out as one of the enterprise functions with the highest AI potential. It's putting customer service teams under mounting pressure to expedite proofs of concept, rapidly scale implementations into production, and articulate a long-term vision to deliver on AI's impact across their organizations. This urgency stems from the disappointing productivity gains of the last decade — barely 1% annually — despite increased technology investments. My latest analysis, published on No Jitter, presents a strategic framework for AI integration in customer experience (CX). It outlines key jobs to be done (JTBD), digging for each into areas ripe for AI transformation. It includes a comprehensive inventory of CX AI use cases.
