We were delighted to provide a £6m loan to Gatehouse Hub Ltd, enabling the development of 19 industrial logistics units and a wellness centre on the outskirts of Burgess Hill, West Sussex. Bedford Park Developments, led by Chartered Town Planner Ben Ellis, has extensive experience in planning and development across residential, commercial, and retail sectors. Since 2018, the company has secured and sold around 1,000 residential units. With over 27 years of real estate experience, Ellis has a strong track record, including founding a successful planning consultancy and directing a major retail development firm. Speaking about the deal, Ellis said: “We’re excited to be brining this development to the West Sussex region thanks to the funding and support of OakNorth. We enjoyed the experience of meeting Credit Committee and having the opportunity to discuss our project directly with the decision makers.
