🎊 Today we are celebrating Claire Proudlove! 15 years in the business and we wouldn't know what we would do without her! Originally starting at our sister company Advanced Resource Managers to working here at Optamor and then returning to ARM in her group role!🎊 We sat down with Claire to hear more about her story. Here is what she said: “15 years ago I joined ARM as a Senior Account Manager with the promise of an organisation with a family feel and where I would be given the opportunity to develop both my skills and career and I am pleased to say that is the case. I have been very fortunate in my time at both Advanced Resource Managers and Optamor to work on fantastic projects with fabulous people - team members and colleagues past and present. The business has invested in me as an individual supporting me through both ICW and CIPD Level 5 qualifications so I am also able to continuously develop and meet my own personal learning objectives. On top of that, I get to use my annual volunteer days to support EBP South which I love to do, working on initiatives in the local education community as well as being an internal mentor, a Mental Health First-Aider and a Menopause Champion. Our working practices also mean on relevant Tuesday evenings during football season (come rain or shine) when I need to travel to Reading to support my beloved Reading F.C. I get there in time for kick-off! There are many people throughout the course of my career at ARM who have been a joy to work and collaborate with and I look forward to continuing that trend in the future. I will raise a glass to you all when I decide how to spend my 15 year anniversary gift. It's National Allotment Week! 🌱🥔🥒🌽🥕🍓 This week we are continuing to celebrate our very own allotment (which we are lucky to have next door to our office!) and the gardening team who have been super busy over the years, transforming the overgrown space into a beautiful haven for us to grow our own fruit and veg! This has been a fabulous way for the team to utilise their volunteering hours and has also helped the team to get out, have some fresh air, and of course, is proven to support positive mental health by being outside. Cycle to Work Day 2024 is a great reminder that our team here at Optamor are entitled to participate in our Cycle to Work Scheme, a great employee benefit that saves £££ on a bike and all important accessories to keep you safe on the road whether you are cycling to our fab offices here at Shore House or using it to explore the many wonderful sites that can be enjoyed on two-wheels.
