    Associate Director, Renewable Energy & Cleantech - Executive & Retained Search

    A couple of weeks ago, I had an incredible four-day off-site in Lisbon with colleagues from our US, German, and UK offices, attending the annual sales conference.   We used the 4 days to consider how we can improve, leveling up relationships with customers, setting expectations and some exciting new value-added services that our clients have been asking us for, and of course, discussing market trends we're seeing towards the end of 2024. A highlight was escaping the conference room to explore the city and squeeze in some bouldering.   While many sectors experienced a slowdown in the first six months of this year, including pockets of the high-growth Renewable Energy sector, particularly in solar, there is promising news. Recent conversations with industry leaders worldwide indicate a warming demand, especially in the C&I/Utility compared with residential markets. Additionally, with increased investment in Renewables, several distributors continue to weather the storm and expand into new countries with the support of Pacific International Executive Search.
