We're pleased to announce Dr Daniel Grace @The Wilderness Medic will be joining us as one of our expert instructors for the Prometheus ExpeMed - Expedition Medic Course in October. The course has been designed to allow students hands-on experience with a variety of complex medical situations in the pre-hospital, remote setting; where help may not be readily available otherwise. The photos attached are some of Daniel's recent works including supporting expeditions across the Jordanian Desert and the Montane Yukon Arctic Ultra. Between now and the course in October, he is heading out to Zambia as part of the Livingstone Revisited expedition @livingstonerevisited, which Prometheus Medical International are proud to be sponsoring. When not on expeditions, Daniel works as a GP and travel health physician and enjoys volunteering as a BASICS Doctor in South Wales. He is also a trainee with Brecon Mountain Rescue team. We're proud to have Daniel on the team and look forward to welcoming students on the 8th-11th October. Here’s what Daniel has to say about his experience: “It can be a bit daunting at first, being permanently on-call in the middle of nowhere, often as the only medical professional, but you quickly get used to it, and the views are usually pretty fantastic.
