What an epic evening event to round off #prideinlondon! We had inspirational speakers, awesome entertainment, and an amazing energy from our member organisations. Huge thanks to Dr. Michael Brady and Dr. Marina Politis for their insights on addressing inequalities in the NHS England and clinical trial space. And let's not forget Elektra Fence and DJ Alesta for ending the night on such a high. Special shoutout to the fantastic staff at St Martins Lane London for hosting us. 🙌

What an outstanding time we had at the Proud Science Alliance pre-Pride in London Parade brunch. As always there were plenty of rainbows, sustainable glitter and excitement. It was great meeting our members from across the sector and to kicking off our epic Pride celebrations in style. Huge thanks to The Academy of Medical Sciences for sponsoring our gorgeous brunch.

What a day yesterday! So much was packed in from an opening gorgeous brunch sponsored by the The Academy of Medical Sciences, the Pride in London march, an evening reception at the St Martins Lane Hotel with two inspiring speakers, and then finally an after party with the super fun Elektra Fence and DJ Allesta. So much work by the amazing Proud Science Alliance team so that everyone had an incredible day celebrating the magic of being queer. This is literally one of two photos I took because I was so busy talking and dancing and engaging with so many beautiful people, but my face says it all ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

What an amazing Pride in London we had this weekend, my voice still hasn’t recovered yet! Proud Science Alliance was delighted to work with The Academy of Medical Sciences to host a brunch for our network and to march alongside PSA members including Pfizer and Proud Crick from The Francis Crick Institute, 175 collegues in total. In the evening we enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and venue of St Martins Lane Hotel who once again pulled out all the stops for us. Our guest speakers Dr Michael Brady and Dr Marina Politis gave us some great insights into how we can better address inequalities within the NHS England and Clinical trial space. We finished off the night with amazing music from DJ Alesta and performance by Elektra Fence. We also profiled the wonderful charity Mermaids with an amazing video from Allana, you too can donate via our just giving link in the comments below 👇🏼 I made some great new connections and look forward to some amazing collaborations over the next few months and years to come! #WeAreEverywhere Adrien Menaspa Stephen Ingham Jae Sloan Dr Molebedi Segwagwe Jane Finch Marine D. A special shoutout to our PSA members for their active participation and for sharing their perspectives. And let's not forget Marine D. and Jae Sloan from the PSA steering team for their hard work in bringing this event to life! We can't wait to see you all at our next event.
