Over the last year I've had the genuinely incredible experience of editing a behind-the-scenes documentary about 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz', Sky's adaptation of the bestselling novel. 'Making The Tattooist of Auschwitz' was broadcast last night on Sky Atlantic, and is available to stream on NOW. Editing a 30 minute broadcast doc was certainly a bit of a change from my usual brand of 60 second TikTok silliness, but has taught me so many new things about storytelling and editing that I'm already finding myself applying to shorter-form edits too. Shoutout to my colleagues at Ralph for doing the much harder jobs of making this all come together in the first place: Andy Knowles, Andrea Åberg and Gregor Stevenson - here's to the next one...?
