Revolutionary Embedded Software Verification Tools & Services, Internationally since 2004.

About us

Rapita Systems is a leading supplier of software verification tools and services, providing quality solutions to the global high-integrity aerospace and automotive electronics industries. We help our customers to increase software quality, deliver evidence to meet safety and certification objectives and reduce project costs. The Rapita Verification Suite (RVS) makes software testing more efficient and reliable. It integrates with existing development environments and offers flexible, low overhead strategies to collect verification data including unit test, structural coverage and worst-case execution time data from the most complex targets including multicore processors. RVS was designed with safety in mind and is qualifiable for use in environments such as DO-178C/ED-12C and ISO 26262. Supporting its position as a key provider of verification solutions, Rapita Systems provides expert multicore timing and V&V services aimed at safety or mission-critical environments, supporting a range of activities including unit integration, system and acceptance testing, timing analysis and optimization (for both single- and multi-core systems), compiler validation and assurance services. Rapita's multii-core solution, MACH178, provides an end-to-end solution for providing certification evidence to satisfy DO-178C and A(M)C 20-193 objectives. In 2022 Danlaw Group acquired Maspatechnologies SL in Spain, expanding the specialized multicore verification expertise within the Rapita Systems group. Rapita is a wholly owned subsidiary of Danlaw Inc (www.danlawinc.com) and Rapita Systems Inc. can handle US controlled defense information in compliance with ITAR regulation.

🎉 We celebrated 20 years in July! 🎂 Founded in 2004 as a spin-out from the University of York in the UK, Rapita Systems was established by Dr. Guillem Bernat, Dr. Ian Broster and Dr. Antoine Colin, who are still at the driving heart of the company today. Providing on-target software verification tools and services globally to the embedded aerospace and automotive industries, our focus has always been to ensure that software used in critical systems has the highest quality and reliability, making the world a safer place to live in. The increasing complexity and safety requirements in aerospace and automotive software has, over the years resulted in a strong demand for our Rapita Verification Suite (RVS) solutions and our tools have been essential for companies needing to ensure the reliability and performance of their embedded systems. More recently we have spearheaded the development of solutions to solve the challenges of multicore timing analysis with the launch of MACH178. Joining the Danlaw, Inc. family in 2016 and with further expansion in 2022 with the acquisition of Maspatechnologies in Barcelona, Spain, has seen the company go from strength to strength.   Thank you to all, including customers and partners, who have been a part of our success over the past 20 years . Here’s to many more ahead! #celebration #anniversary #safetycritical #software
