Thrilled to share the new film we created for Variety, the Children's Charity celebrating their 75th anniversary. This was a special one. We wanted to show the breadth of what Variety do and the support they give to help disabled and disadvantaged kids achieve their potential across the UK. We turned a ‘no’, into a ‘no limit’. This was a massive team effort - Phil Hawkins , re:production , Lisa Bond and her team. But….we couldn’t have done it without the support from the 2 SEN schools we shot in, and most importantly, the incredible kids and young adults (both those who were in the film, and those who were inquisitively helping us out along the way). This one was close to home (certainly for me anyway, Claire). My daughter is non-verbal autistic and goes to a SEN school here in the North East (her school have a Variety mini bus). To be able to combine my personal life experience with my professional life is something that doesn’t come along everyday. This meant a lot. To bring to life the work Variety do with kids like my own was really moving.
