Watch our video to see what a small part of one of our AI modules can do to assist you and your claimants with unstructured data! Everyone's talking about AI, and there's a lot of hype around it. While many big companies like Amazon and Apple have deep pockets, AI won't be something they can fully dominate on their own. AI is already integrated into products like iPhones, and people are starting to expect it in every platform they use. For example, AI is already being used for modelling and other applications in the insurance industry—it's becoming the norm. Insurers in the process of looking to find partners to improve their digital services, they will naturally think - of course, it includes AI. Nowadays, it's assumed that any new platform will have AI because it's essential for retaining customers. However, AI alone won't drive sales; it will simply be a standard feature. If a product lacks AI, it might struggle in the market because people now expect it. In my view, there are a lot of providers out there with investor money, and something radical needs to happen- a company breaks through and develops memoirs, etc . Its potential is powerful for handling unstructured data—about 80% of claims involve unstructured data, and AI will significantly enhance how we process and understand these claims. We're already seeing AI improve knowledge extraction in claims and help analyse complex company reports. Once AI evolves further, it will transform the insurance industry, but it won't be the reason why people buy your product; it will just be expected. Ultimately, while massive companies will continue to invest in AI, they won't have the capacity to address every niche application. This is where specialised technology companies in insurance can really make a difference. AI is becoming crucial in insurance, particularly in claims processing, fraud detection, customer service, and risk assessment. For claims processing, AI can automate everything from claim submission to settlement, speeding up approvals, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction. It’s also effective at handling unstructured data—like handwritten notes or photos—by extracting relevant information for faster assessments. AI is transforming fraud detection by analysing patterns and flagging suspicious claims that might slip through traditional methods, helping companies save money. In customer service, AI chatbots handle routine inquiries, freeing up human agents for complex issues while also enabling personalised insurance offerings. Risk assessment is also evolving. AI analyzes vast data sets, improving pricing accuracy and decision-making. If a claims platform lacks AI, it risks slower processing, higher costs, increased fraud, and inefficiencies in handling unstructured data, all leading to a competitive disadvantage. In today's market, platforms without AI could struggle to keep up.

“Have we successfully implemented digital self-service for claims? Have we made it easy for consumers to adopt digital tools? Has this helped insurers reduce costs in a challenging economic climate with tight margins? What does the future hold, and how can we ensure greater efficiency and profitability”? An interview with the renowned Chris Payne from EY and RightIndem CEO Julie R.. As my first month at RightIndem ends, I’ve been genuinely impressed by our employees and our intuitive digital claims technology. We have so many incredible developments coming out that are game-changers! We are introducing a series of high-tech, high-touch solutions, helping our existing customers achieve greater digital adoption. But as I settled into my new role, I realised the importance of understanding the industry and its current landscape. Where is it today? Where is it headed in the future? To gain these insights, I've started conducting interviews, and I'm thrilled to announce that my first interviewee is none other than the renowned Chris Payne, whose expertise and insights will undoubtedly enrich our understanding of the industry. One of the key areas I'm keen to explore is the future of digital claims technology. How has it evolved, and how will it continue to shape the industry? It's amazing to see that the insurance industry is leading the pack with impressive NPS scores in the high 80s, certainly something to be proud of! In my quest to gather diverse perspectives, I'll also seek the views of a major insurance distributor, a large insurance company, a prominent broker, TPAs, and, of course, the unsung heroes of our industry—the claim handlers themselves. It's crucial to hear from these different stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry's challenges and opportunities. Another topic that I'm particularly passionate about is the integration of digital wraparound solutions with large policy system providers. It shouldn't be a complex task, yet some providers make it unnecessarily difficult and costly. I'll be exploring the reasons behind this, including strategic decisions and potential client retention concerns. I plan to delve deeper into it through an upcoming video. I firmly believe that the market is constantly evolving, and strategies based on control and restriction are bound to fall short in the long run. I've witnessed firsthand how open source can change an industry for the better, challenging established tech monopolies. Therefore, collaboration and empowering insurance companies with the right tools to compete and win will be the key to success. As I conclude my interviews and analyse the outcomes, I'm eager to see what insights and conclusions emerge. The future lies in harnessing the power of technology and working together to shape the industry. Companies that embrace collaboration and adapt to the changing landscape will undoubtedly thrive in the market. Exciting times! https://lnkd.in/eAdsc_Rv
