Our Doncaster Dementia services just hit a high note with their new piano project! 🎹    Dementia group members enjoyed an event hosted by our amazing staff and volunteers to celebrate their re-decorated piano, kindly donated by St Leger Homes of Doncaster. This creative project helped them to reflect on their lives, hobbies and interests. To highlight the service and the huge impact it has within the local community, the piano will be displayed in the Doncaster Civic Office building for everyone to enjoy. Well done team. 😍❤

A huge well done to Alan, one of our NHS and Care Volunteer Responders from Holmfirth, who has completed an outstanding 1,000 medication deliveries! 🤯 “There are little highlights every day. It helps those receiving treatment at home and recovering from a hospital stay have access to the medication and prescriptions they need to get back on their feet. “I’d absolutely recommend volunteering to others, knowing you’ve made a difference is one of the best feelings.” We are thrilled to have so many volunteers across the charity, like Alan, who dedicate so much of their time to helping others 😍 Keep up the great work 💪

We are thrilled to share that we are being supported by the Power of Music Fund! To support our dementia group activities and the work we do to help people living with dementia, we have been awarded funding from Music for All. This support will enable us to provide new experiences for people living with dementia and their carers, across our services, through the joy of music. A great idea to help keep people connected ❤ To reduce loneliness, our team in Cambridge is running a ‘Friendship Table’ every Wednesday from 1-3pm at our café in Meadows Community Centre until 4 September. Everyone is welcome to drop in and have a friendly chat with other people within the community. Huge well done to our team for coming up with this fantastic community initiative 👏
