Ahead of this year's Manchester Pride (Friday 23 August to Monday 26 August), our Customer Service Team has been holding a week of activities to spread awareness, open discussions and show support for the LGBTQ+ community.    Yesterday (Thursday) the team got into the party mood by dressing in rainbow colours, painting faces and playing Pride-themed educational games.   On behalf of our Inclusion Group, they have also been giving out LGBTQ+ ally and pronoun lanyard badges. Regardless of their gender identity, colleagues can request a badge as a way to easily state their preferred pronouns or to show allyship.

We’re recruiting a Night Service Team Leader to join our 1st Response Team. This role would suit a self-motivated leader with strong communication skills, who has previous experience of supervising a team. As the Night Service Team Leader, you will give direction and support to a small team to help them deliver a professional, high-quality, night-time service to our customers. Following a recent inspection process, the results are in, and we have been graded as a ‘C1’ organisation, making us one of the first landlords in the country to achieve this grading. We also retained our ‘G1’ grading for governance and ‘V2’ grading for financial viability. We're pleased to share our latest investment programme, which will see £20million spent on improving #socialhousing in Salford over the next year. Central to the programme is a £10million eco-transformation at neighbouring tower blocks Grey Friar Court and White Friar Court, making the buildings greener and more energy efficient. Other investment work includes: 🏘️ New kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, roofs, rewiring and heating systems for hundreds of homes. 🏘️ The installation of sprinklers in five more of our tower blocks. 🏘️ Improvements to 1,366 homes. We’re recruiting for two Flytipping and Recycling Operatives to join our Environmental Services Team The main purpose of this role is to support the delivery of a highly efficient and productive furniture recycling scheme. The aim is to source and upcycle essential household items for distribution to residents most in need and providing vital support within our communities. You will also provide support to the environmental teams through removal of flytipping and bulk items. Applicants must hold a full, UK driving licence.
