🌟 Yesterday, Team #Saranac proudly participated in the annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge at Battersea Park in London! 🌟 The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge is the world's largest corporate running event, uniting colleagues from across the globe with one mission: to bridge the gap between work and wellness. This year, we joined thousands of participants across 16 locations, 8 countries, and 6 continents, coming together for a shared experience powered by fitness, friendly competition, food and fun. We were honored to support Centrepoint, the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, as this year's charity beneficiary. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, support and life skills, empowering them to move beyond their past and realise their full potential. A huge well done to everyone who took part and a massive thank you to J.P. Saranac hosted the England vs Denmark Euro 2024 match at the Henrietta Hotel in Covent Garden last week. Amidst the excitement of the game, a few canapés, and summer drinks, we took the opportunity to catch up with our guests. Our London-based intermediaries joined us for an evening of relaxed networking in a more informal setting. A huge thank you to everyone who attended – we hope you had a fantastic time! This event was a great success, even though England didn't secure the victory. We’re already looking forward to our next event and are hopeful that England will bring home the trophy this summer. #Euros2024 #England #Denmark

We at Saranac are proud to support St James's Church Piccadilly PCC, a local charity, in our efforts to give back to the community this year. St. James Church is an incredible organization that not only aids those experiencing homelessness but also supports anyone in need. Being located just around the corner from us, we are excited to get involved in their impactful work. Each year, this charity serves over 5,000 hot meals to those experiencing homelessness. They also provide support and a sense of community to individuals navigating the challenging asylum process. Their mission is to unite everyone and make a positive difference! Every Sunday, they host a breakfast morning, serving a variety of hot meals and snacks to those struggling. Their wonderful volunteer team of about 25 people overall, currently serve 60-70 guests each week. Saranac Partners values the huge effort undertaken by St James’s Church and noticeably the difference it is making to everyone it serves! Last week, we donated all the food required for their event, along with a few extra supplies. We have many more initiatives planned for this year and look forward to working closely with St. James Church and our community. In our latest Investment Roadmap, we explore the potential impacts of a weaker dollar on global equity markets. Historically, U.S. equities have outperformed, coinciding with a strong dollar, and currently comprise about 70% of global equity benchmarks. However, a significant rise in U.S. specific economic or political risks could weaken both the dollar and U.S. equity performance. While currencies are not the primary drivers of equity performance, recent trends suggest weaker currencies can support relative equity performance. Key points include: • The global economy shows signs of slowing, with inflation slightly above central bank targets. • U.S. equity market valuations are high but sustainable, with no earnings recession detected. • Fixed income markets reflect adjusted expectations for U.S. monetary policy, with long-term yields at fair value. • Increased allocation to gold as a hedge against political risk. Last month saw our team take on lots of challenges. To end the month, Suraj Valand completed the Ride London 100 mile cycle in aid of The Brompton Fountain. He managed to cross the finishing line in an impressive 7 hours and 55 minutes. In the peak of this he reached top speeds of 46mph! As a company, we love to see our team achieve not only in the workplace but outside of the office too. A huge congratulations to Suraj and well done for raising money for such an amazing cause.

We would like to say a huge congratulations to the very special, Robert Rayner, who recently ran an impressive 95.3 miles over two days to the Isle of Wight in memory of Robert Elliot. Rob braved this challenge to raise funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and it is safe to say he exceeded all expectations and more by raising a grand total of £13,486! 100% of these proceeds are going to a fantastic charity that supports those suffering with Motor Neuron disease and families who are affected by this awful illness.  A special shout out to those Saranacers who also participated in parts of his journey (Emily Hooton, Maxi Ducam-Davies, Michael Lutter) and those who showed their support at the sideline. In Robert’s words ‘It wouldn’t have been possible without you all’.
