About us

Being involved within property inventory management for over 25 years, we’ve seen many changes in property letting. However, probably the most essential part of property letting that has never changed is the provision of an inventory. However well a tenant looks after the property it will not be in the same condition at the end of the tenancy as it was at the start. It is therefore essential that an independent and impartial inventory is provided at the start of a tenancy – indeed many landlords considered it as a form of insurance. At SG-Inventories we offer a range of services all with the aim of protecting your property. These include Inventory, check-in, mid-term and check-out reports. All our reports are straight forward, easy to follow, completely impartial and produced to the highest quality giving an accurate description of the property including furniture, fixtures and fittings and supported by photographic high-res images.

Buyers were boosted after the Bank of England cut interest rates in early August for the first time in four years. With market activity picking up and the possibility of further interest rate cuts, we expect house prices to rise modestly for the remainder of the year. In England, the north west experienced the sharpest increase in house prices, rising 4% over the last year to £232,917. These figures only include mortgage-holders; they do not include cash buyers or buy-to-let transactions. Cash buyers account for roughly one-third of all housing sales. Rising house prices generally benefit sellers, as they can achieve higher sales prices for their properties, potentially resulting in a substantial profit.
