To register your interest https://lnkd.in/e82hAEC3 To celebrate the one-year anniversary of our funding round, we are pleased to announce Stanhope AI’s Active Inference Drone Exhibition Day, scheduled to take place on the 12th of September 2024.    The mission of Stanhope AI is to build a Generative AI for the physical world, based on a first principles account of human brain function. We aim to tackle the most important problems in AI to enable the next generation of autonomous machines. Our tech overcomes the challenges of a lack of reasoning and planning, and large training data sets that are typical of currently available AI systems.   Our event will showcase the first ever Active Inference-controlled AI agent. You will see it living and breathing in autonomous drone missions using the team’s latest world models. We aim to show you a truly thinking machine. 

Each year, Founders Forum Group leverages its global network to select a handful of exciting early-stage startups with world-changing potential to showcase at our event - one of my personal highlights… The founders of these emerging disruptor brands attend Founders Forums to speak about their ideas, bringing new talent and technologies into the fold. And, if I do say so myself, we have a pretty great track record here, with Twilio, Google DeepMind, Supercell, Wish, Wise, Lemonade, Bumble Inc. and Wayve all having been previous rising stars.   This year, we had an exciting cohort of rising stars and gamechangers 💫 (nominating by VCs and super angels, and ranked by our team using set criteria) including: 🪖 Byron Boots from Overland AI, a Seattle-based startup building off-road ground vehicle autonomy for defence 🪐 Jorgen Tveit from Thaleron, who engineer miniature planets spinning at supersonic speeds beneath the ocean surface to store renewable energy for periods of low solar and wind activity 🏭 Lucio Milanese from Proxima Fusion, building the next generation of fusion power plants using quasi-isodynamic stellarators 💉 Melina Schuh from Ovo Labs GmbH, who are pioneering therapeutics that boost egg quality to improve the success rate of IVF 🌱 Ren Ito from Sakana AI, a Tokyo-based R&D company applying nature-inspired ideas, such as evolution and collective intelligence, to create new foundation models 🧠 Rosalyn Moran from Stanhope AI, who are building novel frameworks for agentic AI based on active inference - emerging from over 30 years of research in computational neuroscience 🎥 Alex Mashrabov from Higgsfield AI, a foundational video model company democratising social media creation for everyone 🤖 Damion Shelton from Agility Robotics, the world’s leading manufacturer of mobile manipulation robots - building automation solutions to solve real world labour challenges 👚 Dennis Nobelius from Syre, a textile impact company decarbonizing and dewasting the industry through textile-to-textile recycling (founded by H&M and Vargas) 🐄 And last, but certainly not least, Sam Elsom from Sea Forest, an innovative environmental technology company focused on the cultivation of seaweed and the development of feed supplements to reduce livestock methane emissions We're always looking for the next rising stars, specifically for our events in New York & Berlin in October - let us know who you think we should showcase… !
