Get Ready for the Ultimate Bartender Showdown! 🍹💪🏽 Our mission is bringing people together through our passion for great pubs, bars, and venues, and while we are proud of our #OneTeam, we’re also all about some healthy competition! As a result, our annual Be at One Bartender Challenge is something we look forward to each year. Bringing together around 300 talented bartenders from 40 locations, the challenge is the ultimate test of skills, knowledge, and interaction. Contestants will battle it out for the coveted title of Best Bartender. They’ll also compete for top honours in categories such as Fastest Bartender, Best Pourer, Most Knowledgeable, and, new for 2024, Best Flairer! Shining a well-deserved spotlight on some of our fabulous LGBTQIA+ venues ✨ Built on the site of the 200-year-old Swiss Hotel, Compton’s has been at the epicentre of the LGBTQIA+ scene since 1986. A welcoming beacon through the tough times for the community during the late 80s and 90s, Compton’s is now one of London’s most celebrated LGBTQIA+ venues. “Pride, for me, is a celebration of everything that’s happened for us so far, but still being aware and being mindful of the fight that still needs to be done.”

At Stonegate Group, we’re always looking for ways to innovate and improve the experience for our guests. As part of this, we’re pleased to share that with the help of Zest, we’re rolling out EV charging facilities to four of our sites in Leeds, Sheffield, Lancaster and Swindon. ⚡ As the world increasingly shifts towards using electric vehicles, it's crucial that EV charging points are readily accessible. The new fast and rapid chargers will allow our guests to power up while enjoying a warm welcome at our pubs, all in line with our ongoing commitment to sustainability as a member of the Zero Carbon Forum. This initiative is part of our broader efforts to enhance efficiency and promote a sustainable future for everyone. Our first ever Stonegate Charity Cricket Day raised over £2,000, for our charity partner, the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association 🏏 Four teams from across the business battled it out for the coveted trophy; and whilst the weather left a lot to be desired – the Managed Team lifted the trophy, presented by Charlotte Taylor, from the MND Association. 🏆 We’re incredibly proud to support the MND Association, who provide vital care to people with motor neurone disease, their families, and carers, and so far our incredible colleagues and customers have raised over £500,000.
