We at BOTH Press is an award winning publisher and first in the UK to exclusively publish and champion dyslexic friendly books for adults. BOTH Press aims to make exciting, high quality fiction accessible to those not currently provided for by today’s traditional mass book market. We want to change the narrative that reading for pleasure can be achieved even when you have dyslexia. We campaign via publishing to bring more awareness to the need to provide for adults with dyslexia. It had become common place to cater for children with dyslexia in bookshops - and its is almost a given that you will be able to find them on the shelves - sadly this is not the same for adults. We should have a section for adult dyslexia in every bookshop, and we agree with the MD of Bookshop.org, Nicole Vanderbilt “Reading for pleasure provides so many benefits to both children and adults. Independent bookshops are often on the front line of helping all readers find favourite books, but that requires the widest possible choice of books that everyone - including those with dyslexia - can choose from. We really applaud this initiative coming from a bookshop that also publishes such great books for dyslexic adults.
