We were recently asked why we say our instructors were qualified, if people are teaching, they must be...right? We highlight how many swim schools are running sessions understaffed and underqualified in our recent blog post on our website. We are confident in saying that our teachers are qualified, our assistants are constantly having onsite training. Rather than taking short cuts like many other Swim Schools, we run with a full strategy to ensure our lessons are as safe as possible. We promote the fact our instructors are qualified. I mean, you would think that the people teaching your kids to swim would be...the truth may be a little different though. In our latest blog, we talk about why we say "Qualified Staff" on our social media advertising.

It was sad to hear that a lot of parents, once again had lost money due to another swim school enrolling them, just for the course not to come to anything. We heard about the news via a local news outlet who had asked if we were able to help like we did when a similar thing had happened in Lichfield last year. This time the swim school in question had several pools around the midlands so there were a lot of children that were expecting lessons and parents that were expecting refunds...neither of which happened. We were glad to help these parents and children, by offering them a free set of classes with us. We were also very happy to be able to hire some of their swimming teachers that met the high standards we have at Sue's Swim School. In total we have managed to relocate nearly 100 families to our pools by putting on additional classes- meaning we still maintain the low swimmer to qualified teacher ratio. There needs to be security to stop these things from happening. It was reminiscent of Lockdown where other swim schools in the area took the money form the swimmers and they lost it. It also makes us proud that none of our swimmers lost a single penny.
