    Hey Stars, Here we go, back on Track with "FreeStars" and I am Super Excited to do this all again :) It's my complete pleasure to introduce Jas Deogan - a phenomenal addition to any company that's looking to make an impact on their product design teams and commercials. Jas is a Versatile UX and Product Design Expert, from the get-go, I realised that Jas is a rare star who's driven. Yesterday, I attended the NEXUS LGBTQ+ event, which was fascinating. It got me thinking about how we can incorporate more DE&I Stars in our businesses. This brings us to today’s Star Tips ! To make meaningful change, we need to take simple steps. Considering our gig economy, how many contractors truly show their authentic selves? It's not always easy, and I wondered how we could encourage this more actively. Imagine if employers thought inclusively and actively attracted DEI contractors too. While the market remains challenging, I’m thrilled to share some positive news: "Direct Hires" (Stars who have applied directly to roles) are on the rise! This signals that the job market is gaining momentum. Plus, I've noticed a significant uptick in inquiries over the past month, indicating a more active and optimistic landscape. With the inflation rate dropping, I’m hopeful that we’ll soon see a reduction in interest rates. This change should prompt Financial Directors to loosen the purse strings, allowing both new talent and existing employees to receive well-deserved raises. This week alone, I helped two Stars secure their raises, proving that it's still possible to achieve financial growth in this environment. Looking ahead, DE&I and AI remain crucial in recruitment. These areas are not just buzzwords; they represent key growth opportunities, and we are experts in both. To our clients, know that we are dedicated to innovation and excellence in these domains.     Hey Stars, This week's Star Tips is focused on Mental Health for Mental Health Awareness Week. 😊 Throughout the year, I've seen many of you sharing your struggles with job searches in this tough market. It's been challenging, but I'm also starting to see more celebrations of Stars landing jobs. We are moving forward, even if it doesn’t always feel that way and I know the Market will improve. Mental health affects us all, including me. Despite my super positive outlook, it’s my coping mechanism to get through tough times—from supporting my Mum with Parkinson’s and helping a dear friend with depression, to keeping Superstars motivated during difficult times. I believe in you all, and I know we will get through this together. Here are a few tips that have helped me and I do hope that will help you too: 1. Talk: Reach out to someone. It’s hard, but there is always someone ready to listen and help. Talking about your struggles makes you feel lighter and helps you find a path to cope. Remember, even the greatest people have hard times. 2. Recognise: You are not alone. My amazing support network includes you, Star Talent. Being part of a community helps, and as shown in the Star Tip video, thousands of you are going through this together. You are never alone and when you see that you find a path to recovery 3. Plan: Write down your problems on paper, phone, or computer. This helps you become more logical and aware of the issues, making it easier to break them down into smaller, manageable parts. Whether it's a financial problem or a job search, there are many ways to find solutions and improve your situation. It works I have done this many times :) 4. Do: After planning, take action. Even small steps can lead to significant progress. People want to help, and they will assist you in moving forward. Each tiny step towards resolution is a massive leap in your journey. There are countless solutions to help, resolve, and recover. We just need to open our eyes to see them. From the thousands of Stars I meet, I see that each of you is a powerhouse of resolution and recovery. Don’t isolate yourself. Sadly, we’ve lost Stars who didn’t reach out and felt there was no way out. I promise there always is a way and due to my experiences I will always listen to people I hope these tips help. Today, take a break, count your blessings, and treat yourself to something lovely. It doesn’t have to be expensive. I’m heading to my favourite cafe for a big slice of cake and a coffee because I deserve it. One tiny spark of happiness can create a huge step towards recovery.
