Candidates, are you researching into the company you are interviewing with? We don't just mean having a 5 minute scroll through their website, we mean a deep dive! 🌐 Website: Look at all of the webpages associating to the company - The landing page, meet the team, our values, blog etc. This will help you to get more of an understanding on what the company does and it will aid you in understanding their culture and people. With clear knowledge of the company's products, services, and challenges, you can lean on parts of your experience that are most relevant, demonstrating how you can address their specific needs. 👤 LinkedIn: LinkedIn research is crucial, do a deep dive into the company and its people, get to know them. Look into the members of the team you could be joining and understand their past experiences as this could give you an insight into what they are looking for. 🤝 Shareholders: Look into their shareholders and the movements they are making, for example have they been through a period of growth/have they ever had to make redundancies. The more you know about the company, the more confident you'll feel during the interview. Employers appreciate candidates who take the time to learn about the company. Throwing it back to May this year when the new flexible working rules came into force. 🙌 Covid-19 had many impacts on our lives, and flexible working is just one of them. Companies and employees quickly realised the benefits flexibility, including reduced overhead costs, access to a broader talent pool, employee satisfaction as well as better work life balance. Although we have seen some shifts in how people work recently with companies reintroducing compulsory office working we believe flexible working is here to stay.
